In the heart of Alberobello's historic centre, beside the Basilica of Saints Cosmas and Damian, Trulli Arcolaia is set within an ancient courtyard whose origins, according to its architectural features and traditional construction techniques, date back to the mid-17th century. At that time, these spaces were part of everyday community life, in a neighbourhood shaped by shared courtyards, stone and rural work.

Over the centuries, the courtyard has taken on the appearance it preserves today. Its stone façade, the imposing entrance arch and the distinctive geometry of the trulli still express the timeless character of Alberobello's traditional architecture.

Here, the bed has been placed on a mezzanine inside the stone cone.
